Help me name a game store! Bring it on!

OK, so I’m about 3/4 of the way to opening an independent comic shop. The staffing is ready with an experienced manager and assistant manager. The inventory is on order but won’t ship until I say so, the location is down to two choices and the marketing rollout in being prepped.

But we’re having trouble with the name.

Right now we’re at:

The Black Lotus Games Comics and Art
The Final Quest Games Comics and Art
Dungeon Crawl Games Comics and Art

So I told them I’d try to crowd source some names. Anyone have anything?

Of those my favorite would be The Final Quest Games Comics and Art but a name I haven’t seen that I thought would be good is Future Memories.

And if you don’t mind ripping off some guy in Pittsburgh who may or may not be open at this point ----- Phantom of the Attic. Best. Name. Ever.

And a place long closed and forgotten – Geekadrome.

I think the “Art” might confuse some-What about “Games, Comics and Collectibles”?

What kind of store vibe are you going for? More “bright, colorful, welcoming to all” or “edgy for serious gamers” or something else?

Go Big! Games, Comic, & Art

Make t-shirts that say “Go Big! or go home”

Fan-Tastic Games Comics and Collectibles(or “FanTastic”)

The Black Lotus sounds to me like the name of a brothel.

Final quest… meh.

Dungeon Crawl… that has serious potential. Its catchy and when someone says they want to go the Dungeon Crawl this weekend it’ll be pretty clear what they’re talking about.

But Phantom of the Attic is clearly superior.

Is the term “Monty Haul’s” available?

Yeah, it’s an iconic name / reference for players of Magic: The Gathering, and probably obscure or irrelevant, at best, to everyone else.

The Game of Throwns
Ready Player Two
Ender’s Game Store
Cenozoic Park
Vulcan’s Ears

Slice N’ Dice
The Shop Of Holding
Infinite Possibilities

Dragon’s Lair.
D20 Comics
Callahan’s (Slightly obscure Spider Robinson reference and you can always claim that you’re only the manager and the owner is an absentee when you have to deal with unpleasant idiots that demand to see them.)

Demogorgon and Beyond

Bloodbath and Beyond

Yes, better than mine!

The Dungeonmaster’s Cave and Library
Games Vulcans Play
Game Theory and Comics
The Wizard’s Realm of Sequential Art and Minimax Practice
Nerd Heaven
Graphic Novels and Polytope Dice

I’ll admit the name Black Lotus would make me less likely to visit a game store. I’ve seen several places that call themselves games stores but when I visited them, I found the overwhelming majority of the inventory is Magic, a game I have no interest in.

That said, I realize there are a lot of Magic players out there. But unless you’re aiming for them to be the bulk of your customers, you might want to choose a title that goes beyond Magic.

I counter-propose Nerdvana.

ETA: Unless you’re in or near Galveston, TX, where you will find that name already taken.
