tornadoes dropping on people from the Atlantic to the Rockies whether they believe in Global Warming or not, a train that’s burning in VA, a jail that exploded in FL (that Rick Scott wants to swap for the burning train)
and of course News In Canada (evidently its illegal to bet on whether the dead whales or Rob Ford will explode first, but small children are advised to avoid either to minimize collateral damage).
All I really learned from the GD thread is that Hollywood got it wrong: “The End of Days” is evidently Not heralded by a kinky three-way with Gabriel Byrne…

No, no. The peace process wouldn’t have happened at all without Adams’ buy in. He deserves credit for his part in that - even if he did benefit personally by way of greater respectability and authority. But he’s no innocent and he’s not an honest man. I’m glad Jean McConville’s family will get their day in court.

I usually stay right the hell out of Great Debates. I never post there and seldom lurk there. I find it saves my sanity - what little of it I have, anyway.
Basically it means WAIT a minute.
I’m going to have to do a better job of noticing where I’m posting. 
I’ve gone to the Pit a few times but don’t feel comfortable there, either, but I think a lot of folks feel that way.
Just getting the hang of catching on to zombie threads.

GD always has someone lurking just for one reason to ask you for a cite and then they do more research than you do to prove you wrong … when they could’ve looked up their own damn cite in the first place and then they expect you to sit around all day playing ping pong with their wisdom compared to your wisdom.
They should call it the pit and get it over with … 
One more complaint if someone else has already had a thread on your subject your not suppose to bring it up … duh unwritten rules!
