I just realized _____ is the same actor/actress who was _____ in _____

The shy adenoidal village-bicycle type girl in Wings S01-E05 later was the shrill harpy hag-fag in Will & Grace, Megan Mullally.

Having watched The Purge, Game of Thrones, Dredd and the Sarah Connor Chronicles all within a few months of each other, anytime an actress looks familar but I can’t quite place her, I now just assume it’s Lena Headey (Cersei Lannister, Ma-ma, Sarah Connor) again.

I realized after watching 3 (yes, 3) seasons of True Blood that Anna Paquin, who plays Sookie Stackhouse also played Rogue in the X-Men movies.

Also, Natalia Tena who played Nymphadora Tonks in the later Harry Potter movies is the same actor who plays Osha, the wildling woman in Game of Thrones.

I always think she’s Saffron Burrows, and vice-versa.

Adam Baldwin was also John Casey in Chuck.

Amy Acker is Fred on Angel, the doctor in Dollhouse and now the cellist on Marvel Agents of Shield

Also in Remember the Titian with Denzel Washington

The owner of the bawdy house in “Mr. Selfridge” was Attia of the Julii in HBO’s “Rome”.

The father of the female cop in the new TV series “Fargo” was Wild Bill Hickok in “Deadwood”.

Robin Wright Penn was/is

Princess Buttercup in The Princess Bride
Jenny in Forest Gump
Claire Underwood in House of Cards

And, of course, Root on Person of Interest.

I have to admit that, though I’m a fan of Matt Frewer’s work in Max Headroom and Doctor, Doctor, and his current role as Dr. Leekie in Orphan Black, it took me a couple of episodes to recognize him as Dr. Taggart in Eureka.

Adam Baldwin was also Animal Mother in Full Metal Jacket.
I just realized a few days ago that Marianne Jean-Baptiste from the TV show Without a Trace played the daughter in the film Secrets & Lies.

Nate Fillion was in Saving Private Ryan. He was the wrong Private Ryan.

Jean Baptiste (the Haitian) in Justified was also Armando Muñoz (Darwin) in X-Men First Class. The actor is Edi Gathegi.

If you can’t recognize Amy Acker from one show to another, there might be something wrong with you. She was in some show the other night and I knew it was her just from the voice.

He was also one of the doctors on House for a few episodes, when Cutthroat Bitch, 13, and the others were trying to get hired.

I watched Wargames recently. Remember the first scene, in the Silo, where the older guy wouldn’t kill everyone without getting someone on the phone, and the younger guy pointed his gun at him and said “Turn your key, sir!” They’re both pretty recognizable.

And EDI in Mass Effect 2 and 3.

The guy who played the server on the train in Silver Streak is the same guy who played the military judge in A Few Good Men.

And Cheese in Gone, Baby, Gone.

J.A. Preston, I just saw him in Remo Williams: The Adventure Begins a couple nights ago. He also had a recurring role on Hill Street Blues; I think he was captain at one of the other police precincts and then mayor.
