I just saw the worst person in the world!

It should read:

*Dear Worst Person in the World:

Thank you for blocking both handicapped parking spots and forcing my wheelchair-bound mother to park out in BFE to find a spot that would permit her to exit her vehicle.

As a karmic repayment for your inconsiderateness, your car has been keyed.

Have fun finding out exactly where! :)*

The revocation of the drivers license by the Secretary of State (or DMV) is the real punishment. A second DUI is anything but a slap on the wrist, as far as driving privileges go.

I’m at grad school in a snowy bit of the country. There’s one major, large parking lot for the entire college, and snow reveals the assholes very clearly. My favorites are the people who park in a prime space close to the door, and then leave their cars there for weeks or months on end. Those cars become more and more obvious as they accumulate snow on and around them, since plows can’t clear their space. Lots of people leave their cars in the lot when they go home or away elsewhere for a while, but most of them have the courtesy to park clear back in an out of the way corner. It’s the jerks who insist that their abandoned car have the best spot in the lot I can’t stand. Right now, I’m walking past a fancy blue Mustang twice every day covered in a foot of snow. Asshole.

And, of course, there are the snowstorm parkers. Last storm, someone had the luck to find a clear, empty spot near the entrance. But why limit yourself to just one? He managed to park across FOUR spaces at once. Asshole.

Good news is that he is letting an awesome ride rust the fuck out by letting it sit there.

What a nice story!
Too bad the cops had to let her off so easily.

I posted this a few years ago:

“I’ve actually seen this, and it had a twist that made it even better. I went to a gas station in Manchester, NH about 4 years ago; they had 2 handicapped spots. There was a car, with no handicapped tag or plates, parked diagonally across both spots. I went back to my car to get my phone to call the cops; just then, the offending parker came out, got in his car, and left. He was wearing a SCOUTMASTER uniform!!!”

Wrong and Strong!

I’ve got a pulled shoulder - very painfull and hard to turn to look behind me - and my power steering needed to fix - it’s not working. So no prob, I get into town early and grab a parking spot at the top of the road so I can just pull forward over the no parking lines when I leave.

Dude parks on the yellow lines in front of me. He’s in a shop but his friend is in the car so I ask the friend to get the driver so he can pull forward. Yes I could shunt back and forth painfully dragging the steering wheel, but you know if this guy pulls forward two feet I can swan out* like I planned *and he can reverse back into a legal parking spot.

Dude comes out, starts ridiculing my driving skills - did I buy my licence etc etc. Lucky I had a passenger or I might well have rammed his bumper right there.

You shouldn’t be driving. Seriously.

I dont see anything in that story that is even a small stretch.

Well, there’s the mustache twirling of the antagonist, while she talks about “cripples and retards.”

And the cops loudly announcing to all gathered what the fine would be.

And the woman taking a swing at a cop.

Say, gang, it would make a great show! We’re pretty good at singing and dancing, and we’ve got the old barn we don’t use for anything! DrDeth, you can be one of the cops. Whaddya say?

Nope, not in the story. You make assumptions. The fine is often posted on the sign. If you get a ticket, there’s your fine. if you make the cops handcuff you, yes, there will be additional fines and penalties.

With her purse? Sure, why not? Angry & entitled people do strange things.

The antagonist in the OP sounds like typical behavior from the folks I deal with everyday. Not a stretch at all.

Heck, throw in assault with an ax and it’ll still sound reasonable to me.

Well, he had to emerge from his “undisclosed location” sometime…

The OP’s story wouldn’t make a good play, though. :frowning:

This doesn’t surprise me.
