I do love me some Superman / Batman but this was just a grim, explody, bass booming, utterly incoherent stinkfest. I’ve watched Kevin Smith’s classic youtube speech on being interviewed to write a big budget Superhero movie and thought he must be exaggerating about how ignorant. clueless and dysfunctional Hollywood producers are. He wasn’t kidding. Every character was off target, half the action made no logical narrative sense whatsoever. The special effects were pretty good and they were the stars of this grisly exercise.
