When I first opened this thread, I automatically assumed it would be a rant about Phelps’s typically asinine statements about the tsunami. I was a bit surprised when it turned out it was about a fundamentalist Muslim declaring it was God’s punishment for deviating from the right path rather than a fundamentalist Christian declaring it was God’s punishment for deviating from the right path. It’s interesting that for all their outward differences (e.g., Christian, Muslim, or Hindu), hardcore fundies are really pretty much alike.
