I like that the light is shining on the racists.

And that my secret girlfriend has her part in holding the torch.

I like that Rachel doesn’t yell and lets Buchanan hang himself with his own words.

Rise white men! Rise up from under the oppressive thumb of Hispanic judges and Olympic track and field athletes! Take back the country you built with the sweat of other people’s brows! Remember when this country was white and good!
Is it me or does Pat remind anyone else of a certain poster here? Not naming names but it starts with an ‘S’ and ends with ‘tarving Artist.’

Oh, man, I watched that last night and was :dubious::confused::mad::rolleyes::eek::smack:. I think pretty much literally.

I loved how she kept saying “108 of 110 Supreme Court Justices have been male, 108 out of 110 have been white” like she was waiting from him to get the ridiculousness of his words, and he never did. It was a thing of…I don’t want to say beauty, because the words coming out of his mouth were ugly as pus, but it was glorious.

Yeah, you know what I miss? The days when people were polite and well dressed. I bet you aren’t even wearing your garter belt while you’re posting, are you, BigGirl. Whatever happened to class?!

A few facts:

Percentage of white people 1960: 88.6
Percentage of white people 2000: 75.1

For fun, percentage of white people 1900: 87.9

TeamUSA. Scroll down to track and field and look at how there are no white people. Oh wait-- Pat is full of shit! Man, what a shocker!

Hey Buchanan, the problems began when we let the GD Irish into the country. Been downhill since that.

Wow, threads about racism. I never get tired of them.

Wow, posters who never get tired of threads about racism. I never get tired of them.

Enjoy your lucky day, then!

Can’t we just talk about something we can all agree on? Like gun rights or something?

There are like, nine hundred threads about racism going on right now…there comes a point when it’s just overkill. Nobody likes racism. Pitting it is pointless; it’s like pitting an earthquake.

What can you do? They are technically white people.

She’s not pitting racism. She’s pitting Pat Buchanan.

Then again, I suppose one could speculate an equivalancy.

I could use a few more of them. It bothers me how much cultural poison I seem to have ingested on this issue in spite of my best efforts so the more that this stays above ground and something that I have to look at every day, the better.

Sooooo… thanks, Pat.

Just out of curiousity, Biggirl, why do **you **think 108 of 110 SC justices have been white?

They didn’t have enough colored-only bathrooms and drinking fountains at the Supreme Court. Same thing with women: it was just too expensive to build lady’s rooms. Of coures that was back in the day when we tried to balance the budget, so it makes sense to cut costs while you can.

I think some of the early SC judges just re-used their white robes and dyed them black. The hoods made nice matching seat cushions.

Because until very recently, the thought of not picking a white person never entered the head of those who pick supreme court judges.

A black person (or a woman) was literally (and I don’t mean literally as figuratively) inconceivable. Because of bigotry.

May I ask you the same question, Sinaijon? No snark intended at all. It seems to me be a fairly obvious answer but I’d like to see what you think. I’d be happy to share my view as well.

The fact that Pat Buchanon gets a national stage on which to pontiifcate his idiocy, on an almost nightly basis, is a disgrace.

Things were better back in the fifties. You could be racist and nobody would harass you about it. It was a politer time.
