I Lost On Jeopardy. (Spoilers, Weird Al)

Oh, you take the car home. You take the TV. Sir… I salute you. But…

After 75 games, Ken has lost, according to a news story.

But don’t check it out unless you’re ready.

Whoa…and Ijust discovered that roll-over previews from the thread title page don’t hide spoilers.

It’s okay, though. This morning when I woke up, WBBM news radio announced the end of his streak with nary a spoiler warning.

You may want to notify a mod and ask them to put about 10 hard returns in before your spoiler - it appears on the rollover.

As far as I’m concerned, the thread TITLE is a spoiler in itself. Hm, we’re talking about somebody losing on Jeopardy – despite the “Weird Al” red herring, I think we ALL know what that’s about.

But then again my perception may have been colored because I already saw the story on CNN. Perhaps spoilers on this topic are a moot point. We all knew that he would have to lose sometime.

I’d not heard anything about him losing but knew immediately what this would be about and once I looked at the alt-tab, it was confirmed.

If you want this kept up, you’ll want to change the title in addition to the spoiler.

How is the thread title a spoiler? I mean, it’s tautological that Ken would lose eventually, and even with his now well-honed Jeopardy skills, it’s overwhelmingly likely that it’s already happened. What isn’t general knowledge is when exactly it happened, which information the OP has appropriately spoilered (even if it accidentally shows up on mouseover, which isn’t particularly the OP’s fault).

Given the two-month lead time between taping and broadcast of Jeopardy! shows, this means we’ll be watching Ken rack up the wins between now and November.

*Borrrrrrrring . . . * :o

Assuming an uninterrupted run of regular episodes, the death knell will toll on October 26. But there will probably be teen tournaments, college tournaments, or celebrity Jeopardy! between then and now.
