Babies are awesome. My mom and step dad do foster parenting and right now they have a >1 year old.
That little dude is awesome. Kiddo was born with some major complications and required reconstructive surgery of some of his internal organs shortly after birth. This fact meant before coming into my mother and step dad’s care he spent all of his life up to that point in a hospital. When my parents got him he required the use of a feeding tube and an oxygen tank. We still have those but he doesn’t need them anymore. He takes a bottle now (by himself no less. Though sometimes he makes use feed him just to spite us. Little stinker)
Despite all of this he is the happiest little guy I’ve ever known. Doesn’t seem to cry or fuss all that much. He likes pretty much everyone.
