The building owner wanted an advertising mural on the front of his building, so my friend Josh agreed to do it in exchange for doing whatever he wanted to the back of the building.
So we made a giant LOLcat. Because, well, why not?

Well played, sir.
Bravo sir! It is about time the LOLcat went bigtime!
By the way, have you seen the LOLcat Bible? It will make you cry…
That was YOU?
I saw it here.
We’re famous on the internet.
That’s pretty awesome.
Is the building as shitty as it looks?
Every bit.
Let’s just say that the spraypaint vastly improved the smell of that alleyway.
Are you serious? My internet just went meta - I saw it on ichc first!
Well done!
It truly is the pinnacle of my life so far.
I’m both proud and ashamed to kinda-not-really know you.
I think.
Sir, you and your friends have not only one the intarwebs but the whole galaxy. It shall be split up into portions such that each of you will have equal territory and you may do what your wish with your portion. I’d suggest making a chocolate chip cookie USA’s next president as it should be more smarter and more betterer than any candidate now running.
I’m pretty sure I saw it on Fark.com this morning!?
You did.
C
Very cool.
Me, too! I bow before you.
I found you on laughingsquid thanks to a link in today’s WXPNews.
ETA: And yes, I believe paint fumes would enhance the aroma of probably 99.44% of all San Francisco alleys. Squashed skunks would be an improvement on the alley behind my office and a restaurant’s trash bins and og-knows-what that streams down the gutter when they rinse out the grease traps.
Yeah, I saw that on FARK. Recognized the name, and figured it was you. Nice.
Joe
I like the photo story - rappelling down the building, cheeseburgers lowered down the side - everyone helping on the caption - great montage.
Yep… someone else did, too. I had to gave a little SDMB shoutout.
