I made a turkey, 10 lbs. Not bad for a single guy who never tried to do it. I’ll post pictures when I can. It is delicious.

I’ve made a few turkeys in my day as well. Done is done, as they say.
Best thing to do is drop her ASAP and find a chick that’s not of the turkey persuasion.

Holy crap Eats_Crayons, that same thing happened to me. The darn neck was frozen to the carcass and no matter how much I pulled or how much water I filled the cavity with it wouldn’t come out. I end up chipping the ice away with a knife and got it out. I didn’t slap myself in the forehead with it though. And it was a pretty long neck.
And I didn’t make a turkey, I cooked one properly OK? Jeez, gotta watch what you say around this crowd.
