I made it through another cycle of chemo

…with my port. Three weeks…no major side effects…my white blood count went a little low after the second week, but not too low to treat.
I’m ditching the wig because my hair is growing back in…it’s very short, but it’s not unbelievable that a woman would want a cut like this.
Next Tuesday, I’m going in for a tumor marker blood test—wish me luck–hope those number continue to plummet.

Good luck! Glad it’s gone well thus far.

Best of luck.

Good for you. Sending lucky thoughts your way.

All the best of luck with your blood tests.
Wigs are such a hassle. If you feel more comfortable without one, I say go for it no matter what your hair status is. If anyone else doesnt like that, it’s their problem.

best of luck!

Glad to hear things are going well. Here’s to even more good days for you

I’m so glad, sweetie. I’m a bit anemic after my chemo…my doctor wants me to take iron supplements.

Good luck, and I hope those numbers take a nose dive!

Fingers crossed!

Congrats, Gail, and continued good luck!

Good luck Gail!

Good luck with your blood test! I hope that those numbers continue to stay down. It sounds like your hair is very cute just the way it is right now. I see that you’re in Nevada, so you don’t have to deal with the cold we are getting in Michigan right now. It would definitely be harder to have short hair when it’s 30 degrees. I don’t know how guys do it; I guess they’re just used to it (or wear hats).

I will think good thoughts for you on Tuesday.

Extremely good luck!

Good luck, Gail!

Congratulations, and best wishes for continued good luck!

Good luck! Did you have need of the caps I sent?

Sending positive, healing thoughts your way.

Here’s another rooting for ya.

Root. Root. Root!

Good thoughts and very best of luck to Gail and Ivy.

Good luck! Did you have need of the caps I sent?
