taxi, I’m very sorry about your Teddy kitty. I got a skinny ol kitty myself who’s starting to have health problems and I know it’s gonna be hard to let her go. But we do have the responsibility for these guys and the power to end their suffering. Big hugs, girlfriend.

I will try to get a picture all casual-like some time, but I warn you, it may melt my camera. He’s this amazing shade of deep bronze, has terrible posture, and wears transparent skin-tight unflattering clothes. He’s really scary. Also he gives off ‘I’m so self-involved and dumb that I don’t realize I look like an idiot’ rays. Painful.
The dried cherries and berries combo from Costco is painfully good. It’s $8 a pound for mixed dried cherries, strawberries, cranberries, and blueberries. It sounds expensive until you realise that any one of those dried fruits cost $14 a pound at the bulk food store. So I feel virtuous for eating inexpensive healthy dried fruit.
Well, sounds expensive to me. I get squinty about paying more than $5 a pound for almost anything. I’m cheap.
Last night, I got home from work, discovered that in my extreme desire to get there I had forgotten to a) go to the ATM, b) pick up the laundry I didn’t do in celebration for Tuesday not sucking, and c) buy cigarettes. Then I burst into tears. After slowing to the point where I only had the little sniffles and the occasional hiccup, I called my best friend (who was on her way over, anyway), and asked her to pick me up some smokes. Then I went straight for the bottle of Xanax.
I calmed down quite a bit. I don’t know if I calmed down because I was home and in my jammies, because I was given a big double-chocolate-fudge brownie in addition to my cigarettes, or because of the pill. Either way, it didn’t make me nearly as tired as everyone said it would, and I no longer have any compunctions about taking it at work, should the need arise.
I believe the need will probably arise, given the morning my whole department is having, but I shall not count my neuroses until they rear their ugly heads.

HAH! That’s exactly what I thought too! CD, hon, you might want to reconsider that “U” since it makes people think “ugly”! Maybe ACAG for A Certain Ahhh… Guy instead. Still gets across the idea of a lack of adjective as well as the “ahhhh” factor that one hopes he inspires.
