Ohmygod. This could be so freaking cool I don’t even know what to do. At this point I’m trying not to believe it will actually happen, to lessen the disappointment if it doesn’t, but even the possibility is exciting.

I have a friend who works closely with the owner of a local concert venue, and who also brings shows to town and promotes them. The two of them are working on bringing Fatboy Slim in to town to do a show here, and my friend has informed me that he wants me to be one of the openers for that show.

How cool would that be? Me, a little tiny local DJ, opening up for his Fatboy Slimness? The man who brought out 250,000 people for a show this summer - look at this picture

It would blow my freaking mind. Wowza.

If it happens, the Austin dopers are of course cordially invited to come hear my skills on the decks :-).

BTW, if you do get the gig, be sure to drop “Smells Like Teen Spirit” in the middle of your mix. Steal one of his tricks and say you were paying tribute to Norman :slight_smile:
