On your first link’s page there’s a link titled The Bird Cage. It has something to do with christians acting as social and moral canaries a la the canaries that warned of lethal levels of toxic gases in coal mines. Anyway, there’s the following scripture being quoted:

Just a thought that occurs to me whenever someone mentions the Rapture.
Well, the fact that Fred Phelps, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, and Dubya are still here does give weight to your theory…

Love the “Do Our Pets Go to Heaven?” link - why give a simple yes or no answer when you can chisel $8 from the gullible?

Those guys are a hoot. What really amuses me is reading their message board–their whole raison d’etre is their self-satisfied assurance that they are God’s little darlings who will get snatched up into heaven before the Great Tribulation so they can sneer while the rest of us miserable sinners get our just deserts, yet every other thread on that board is all about how sad and unhappy their lives are and they long to go to that trailer park in the sky.
