I need a book that will help me relearn spanish

I took 4 years of spanish in high school, and I need to relearn alot of it on my own for a placement test this summer. What is a good book on the subject that I can use to help me, considering that I have to learn it on my own outside a classroom environment and that I already have 4 years of spanish from high school that I need to remember more than actually learn for the first time (but that was 1993-1997)

No mracle ideas but for vocab. alone I’d try to get your hands on a bilingual book like this . For grammar stuff can you pick upo a teach yourself Spanish book or copy of a High school Spanish book to get you back in the swing?

Having taken high school Spanish and later joined the Peace Corps in Ecuador, I can tell you that you won’t really be re-learning it, you’ll be learning it practically from scratch. What I would do is use some of the books in the Schaum’s series, 501 Spanish verbs, and your local Spanish newspaper. Make a list of useful verbs and memorize them, do some of the exercises in Schaums to become familiar with the construction of the language, and then translate the entire newspaper. Repeat as needed.
