I need a double-sided clipboard

I am looking for a double-sided clipboard-a simple fiberboard or plastic board with a clip at the top of both sides. No compartments, no folding, no built-in calculator, no metal or plastic box with a clip attached somewhere-just a simple board with a clip at the top on both sides.
No suggestions of “Just glue two clipboards back-to-back!” please. Been there, done that, too damn bulky/awkward.

Get a clip board. Standard one. Add 2 bulldog clips on either side of the clip on the board

I’ve tried that, but when those clips get jostled they tend to move and rip the paper. I would like a board with longer clips attached to the board on each side.
And no “dry erase” boards, please. Just a board I can clip sheets of paper to on each side.

Heh. That’s actually a decent idea.

I thought so.

Sadly, I think this is A4 sized, but it’s getting close. If you go to the second photo you’ll see that both the top and the inside have paper clips.

A4 again.

I think your best bet is going to be kluging one together yourself. Take two clipboards. Drill out the attachment points for the clip on each. Attach the clips to one board back-to-back using the same mounting hardware, probably a couple of rivets. File any raised spots and Robert’s your mother’s brother.

Please re-read the OP.

This would probably work. In this case, you’re not gluing two clipboards together. You’re taking the clip of one and attaching it to the backside of the other. There will only be one board. You may need to have a big rubber band or something at the bottom to hold the papers up to the clipboard when they are on the underside.

I think the need is so rare that you’ll have to rig something up yourself.

Please re-read the OP.

Smead’s custom division could almost certainly make that for you. Do you need at least 100 of them?

No, thank you.

What about this?

I want that just so I can be called a ‘creative’

No, thank you-I don’t need a sketchboard.

Dismantle the proper clip from a second clipboard and fasten it to the back of the first one?

OK, well, your frustration is justified - that doesn’t seem to exist OTS. These guyslook like your best choice to OEM them cheaply, I’m guessing about $1.50 ea and two months. They have a 50 piece minimum, that’s the smallest I see.

If you have the ability to rivet them yourself then parts can be found here.

If you are not a creative, then I don’t want to meet one. ROFL!

One thing that might be easier than riveting and wouldn’t be as bulky as gluing two clipboards is to just cut the top of one clipboard and glue it to the backside. So cut off maybe 3" of the top of one clipboard. When you glue them together, then only the top few inches is double thickness. The bottom part, where you hold onto it, will just be single thickness.
