I read a sci fi book at some point, I can’t remember the name (though I’m sure someone will be along to tell me 
) where in some future dystopia they had woman who, when they needed money, whould go to brothels and, by some electronic process be rendered…well active but senseless. And they would do anything the “client” wanted. But not remeber their humiliating experiences.
Hence meat puppets.
I also remeber a great story about how in the future female robots were considered the perfect prostitutes so real woman pretended to be a robot…
And then of course there’s the future porn I happen to be writing myself…

But I thought it was interesting

'twas one of William Gibson’s Cyberpunk books. Molly Millions used to make money to pay for her cybernetics that way. Unfortunately the cybernetics interfered with the semi-concious state and she ended up slicing up a wierdo when she became concious during a very dodgy activity. Think the pay was good, you didn’t remember anything, and the only side effect was being fairly sore in strange places afterwards.

Robert Anton Wilson did something like that in one of the Schrodinger’s Cat books. He used the names of anti porn proponents for sexual parts. Ex. : Rehnquist = penis, Brownmiller = tits, etc.
Funny I always thought it should be socialatrix for females and socialator for males.
