The Situation: Australian expat attending college in the USA. Family in Hong Kong.

The Problems: Terms of the student visa don’t permit employment by anyplace other than the college. Not familiar with Hong Kong, barely speak the language. Return to Australia impractical.

Advice?

In Hong Kong pretty much everything is in english…I’m sure you’d have no problems there.

Get a job with the college? Quite a few have student assistant-type jobs for students.
