I Need a Lawyer in Ohio

Hi all!

I am in need of a personal injury attorney who can practice in Wilmington, Ohio. Does anyone know how to find a good lawyer when one doesn’t know the area? I’m hoping to find someone I can locate easily. I’m wondering what the problems might be if I live in one state but was injured in another.

I don’t ordinarily think of myself as…well, as the type of person to seek a personal injury attorney. But I fell on some brutal ice outside my hotel last week and I’m in tons of pain. I’ll be returning to Ohio for business travel next week, but will have limited time to run around looking for lawyers. In fact, I won’t even have my own car, since I’m sharing with a co-worker.

Any advice? Do I have to actually be in a lawyers office physically in order to get them to help me with my case?

You will have to go to a lawyer’s office, I don’t know of any that make house calls. As far as finding a lawyer, a call to your state’s bar association, they have a lawyer referral service. Their website is here. This site may have some info that you can use, check out the forums.

Hey, thanks! I really appreciate the help. I didn’t think it was too cool to go through the yellow pages looking for a lawyer.
