I need a picture of Musashi....

… well, actually it would probably be a woodcut.

I’m looking for a decent depiction of Miyamoto Musashi, the author of “The Book of Five Rings”.

I’ve always only found the one (he’s finished a cut, the blade is down and to the left, and he’s wearing checked Hakama).

I figured some of you might have better luck.

Is this the one you’re talking about? Musashi spearing a giant snake/dragon/monster thing?

Or this one, which is him flashing some wood swords around?

And this one, which is him killing a whale:

Of course, all of this was done after his death, so they don’t really portray what he looked like. Here’s a self portrait, though, which might be more accurate:
