Preferably, the one that used to be on the M&M bag.
Not sure if it’s what you’re looking for, but I use the Nestle Toll house recipe, the one on the chocolate chip bag, and use M&Ms instead of chocolate chips.
And use full-size M&Ms, not the little mini ones.
This looks pretty close to me.
Except that I see now it uses the minis.
I guess that explains why the recipe is no longer on the regular M&M bag.
I have in my posession the recipe for absolutely the BEST and easiest M&M cookies you can find. I know it’s not the recipe from the M&M bag, and it sounds really weird how you make them, but believe me, they’re delicious!
1 package yellow cake mix
1/2 cup butter or margerine, melted
1/4 cup flour
1 egg
1 1/2 cups M&Ms
•Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
•At medium speed, beat together first 4 ingredients untill combined (dough will be stiff and crumbly
•Stir in 3/4 cup M&Ms
•Shape dough into 1 1/2 tablespoon balls
•Place 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly
•Press remaining M&Ms on top of each cookie
•Bake 11-12 minutes
From my experience with this recipe, I have found that everythinig works out better if you make the balls of dough quite small, like maybe the size of a ping-pong ball, and be sure to flatten them!
The above recipes look good! Here’s one I found thru a search:
http://www.cooksrecipes.com/cookie/m-m-cookies.html
It mixes the candy in.
Don’t don’t don’t use the mini ones, whether recipe calling for it or not. They have almost no flavor when they’re baked because there’s such minute amounts of chocolate in them.
Thanks everybody!
