I need a volunteer opportunity in NYC tomorrow!

I’m looking to go into NYC (Manhattan or Queens) tomorrow to volunteer somewhere, but Google isn’t working on this library connection (I know, the SDMB is working but not Google) and Volunteer Match is giving me nada. I need a volunteer opportunity that’s one-time, not long term, as I’m an Americorps member on Long Island for the next couple of weeks and I don’t have the time to commit to 6 months + with some other organization. In Americorps we have to get a certain number of ‘independent service hours’, with organizations separate from our sponsors.

Does anyone know of any good charities or organizations that need volunteers on Mondays, and won’t make me take orientations or commit long-term? Some place I can just email or call today, and then show up tomorrow to work for a few hours?

NYC Service has a popup calendar of one-time service opportunities, but there aren’t any listed for this monday.

However they require a short orientation before taking on an projects, so that won’t work for tomorrow.
