To whom it may concern,
I am married to a man in prison, he was suppose to be released in August 2012, a pshycologist extened his stay for three months till the board conviened in November, this week 28th of November the board imposed a two(2) year stay.
I need help to appeal it and get him out. I’m a homeless veteran, when I met my husband he gave me strenght to talk about the MST and PTSD. He transfered from a prison near the Navada border to one near me.
If anyone knows or can help us get him released please let me know. I am on a fixed income and cannot pay much for your help.
Thank you
Welcome to the SDMB, mrsharper. You posted this in an old thread on a related topic, so I moved it to its own thread in the appropriate forum. If anyone has advice for you, I’m sure they’ll be along to provide it.
twickster, for the SDMB
If you tell us what state he’s in, someone here might know a lawyer in your area. Otherwise, I’d check the phonebook for a lawyer referral service. If there’s a law college near you, perhaps they might have a reference service to help you find a lawyer. These sorts of services will usually give you a short consultation and then match you up with a lawyer who works in that field.
