I need Simpsons trivia answers.

Maggie’s first word wasn’t “Bart”, Lisa’s first word was bart. Bart was complaining about having a stupid sister and Lisa taking up his old room, then Bart comes in and starts arguing with her saying why she was born. As Bart is about to leave Lisa says “Bart”, then bart is estatic and says “She said my name! She said my name!” then he picks her up and brings her down and she repeats it a few times, eventually she starts repeating Homer, IIRC.

Overly nitpicky:

In one of the Simpsons shorts that ran during the Tracy Ullman show, Marge puts Maggie to bed. Maggie says something, but unfortunately I can’t remember what it is. Many people believe this is the first word that she says. However, the answer is not one of the answers provided for the contest.

I need a life,
Mike

PS Can anyone give me some info of this so-called “fanfest”? I heard it’s just a big lawyer party - invite only…with very few fans.

the Bouncing Rod.

It changed from series to series.
In the Early ones, he swiped by it and you didnt see where it went, but in the later series it is clearly visible going down the drain.

Ok, OK, I was wrong. (I really hate admitting that when it comes to The Simpsons.)

The episode I am referring to comes from the 92-93 season (“Brother From the Same Planet” – aired 2/4/93).
Mad Hatter sez:

Nope. It was “Lisa’s First Word” – aired 12/3/92
So I was off by 2 months, goddammit. Sue me.

And Bart’s first words were “iAye Caramba!” after he walked in on Homer and Marge in bed.

Well, since this got bumped, can anyone answer my question about Apu’s dog?

Bart steals the bus stop sign causing the people waiting to chase after it. It was used only during the first season (13 eps). When those shows are repeated, they use the current opening.

weirddave-- I’ve seen nigh every * Simpsons * episode, and I can’t remember a one that has Apu with a dog.

Hold on, I live in a town where there are no 7-11’s for at least 20 miles. Are you telling me this little tickets give you free stuff for knowing insanely easy Simpsons trivia?
Man, I gotta get me to a 7-11.
