The Celtling wants to be Astrid for Halloween. I’ve found most of what I need, including some really great fake leather with which to make the skirt, but I can’t for the life of me find the little pointy studded things that go on the skirt.
We’ve got boots, we’ve got jewelry, we’ve got the underneath clothes, I just need those little studs. Oh, and the skulls on her skirt.
I’ve been to Michaels, I’ve been to the crafts section at WalMart, I’ve been to the Halloween sections everywhere from Target to the Dollar Store. No luck.
Any ideas out there?
You might try here. I don’t really know if these are great prices, but they seem to have a good selection. I just searched “studs for leather” on google, and there are other online stores selling them too.
If you don’t find what you’re looking for at one of Jenaroph’s suggestions, maybe try Hot Topic? That skirt looks like maybe you could cut up existing metal-studded pleather belts and hang them from the fake-leather skirt you already have. Not sure if that’d be more than you want to spend, though.
Back in the day, my punk friends would go to sporting goods stores and buy replacement spikes for football cleats or other athletic shoes. I don’t know if they still carry anything like that, but it would be worth a look.

melondeca - that’s a brilliant idea! Can’t believe I didn’t think of that, I spent half my allowance on kitty spikes all throgh high school! I’ve already ordered though, and managed to get all that I need for about $15.00 so I’m a happy Mommy!
