Plus, it always seemed to me that her complexion was too oily. That’s why I’m surprised to see various threads saying how hot posters thought Molly was.

Well, she’s not ultra-super-mega hot but she’s more like indie film Winnona Ryder hot. I did notice though that I was in the minority when I said I thought she was still hot after seeing her recently in Not Another Teen Movie.
I have a weakness for red hair, so I think that’s what does it for me. She’s not drop-dead gorgeous, but then again, that is all a matter of opinion. She’s cute, yeah, and [macho pig] I’d do her [/macho pig] but I wouldn’t fall all over myself talking to her.

Not mega hot, just hot. I guess it was the ‘Judd Nelson sneaking his head between her knees’ scene in The Breakfast Club that set her up for me.
I think this says it all right here. When guys (and some ladies) think there is a chance that they could be with her for real and not just in fantasy land, she becomes that much more attractive.
I forgot about The Breakfast Club. Yes she came off as being very down to earth, and real . Which makes her sexy.

I can never shake the image of her as the really annoying redhead on the first season of Facts Of Life. She’s a decent actress, but not my idea of the imperfect, sexy girl next door (that would be Robin Tunney). Molly Ringwald was a favorite fantasy of tons of guys in my high school, but I never saw what people see in her.
