The Hubie Lanzinger and DiCianni paintings differ greatly from the one in the OP. They are painted with a pretty good amount of technical skill, while the artist in the OP kind of . . . sucks.
I mean, do corny propoganda artwork if you want to, but at least do it well.

Ike, your link depicts exactly the painting that popped into my head as soon as I saw this guy’s piece.
He was reportedly turned down to an art institute because despite having a good deal of natural talent, he just couldn’t draw people. Imagine world history if he could have!
I was all ready to get all mad at the OP for being an art snob about some silly piece of Kinkaidesque type illustration or something (no, I wouldn’t have them as art either, but to each his own, and that’s another rant).
