That’s what I hoped. I quit the board before because debating so many people at once was too stressful, and the nastiness, especially in the Pit, made me horribly depressed. But I muted the Pit, and took breaks if it seemed too overwhelming.

I sympathize. I too receive a lot of negative replies every time I question some minority group’s right to exist, even when I’ve been unfailingly polite.

It’s so unfair that I should be held accountable for what I say in public fora.
