Ha! You can give up the fiction that you don’t remember who I am (and presumably who the other posters you’ve been interacting with for years are). No one is buying it. You’re very dumb, but your memory isn’t that awful.
Naw, man, I’m good. Your shitty racist generalizations are clearly gonna continue, along with your shitty pathetic attacks on Gigo–who remains an excellent poster who just posts above your level of understanding. I don’t feel like throwing the ball to you any more.
I am genuinely uncertain what you think you’re accomplishing in this thread, but I hope it’s “cementing my reputation as a petty, small-minded ideologue,” because otherwise you’re failing miserably.
So noone can tell me why they think I am racist but you all think I’m racist anyways?
This is the problem with the woke sjws. They think that the only reason people can disagree with them on issues dealing with race is because they are racist. If you can’t tell me why I am racist but you are sure I am racist anyways, perhaps you could ask yourself if you use accusations of racism as a crutch for mental laziness (or in some cases lack of mental capacity).
Assholes claim they’re just “straight talkers who tell it like it is”. Racists claim they’re just “realists about the differences between people”. Gun fetishists claim they’re “good guys exercising their freedoms”. Protofascists claim they’re “patriots defending the Constitution”. Abusive religious fanatics claim they are “doing God’s will”. And so on and so forth.
No matter the utter depths of their moral bankruptcy or the evidence of the damage they do, some people will cling to whatever narrative allows them to rationalize their beliefs and behaviors and insist that it’s the rest of the world that’s wrong and deluded.
Because the alternative would be for them not only to admit to themselves that they truly are horrible people who make the world a shittier place but also to know that they’re really quite fine being that way.
I definitely remember some things about you.
I remember that you were a writer here in DC.
I remember that you thought throwing hundreds of asian kids under the bus was a reasonable price to pay to get about 50 black kids and a few hundred white kids into a competitive school.
I remember that you were well mannered asshole.
But I did not remember that you were the one that used his black relatives as rhetorical human shields.
Thanks for for the clarification Mr. Dibble.
One of those assertions is actually sort of true! I am a writer (though not yet successful enough to quit my day job), and I do live in the DC area. As for the rest, sounds like the types of misinterpretations and mischaracterizations that are common for people as rock-dumb as you. You’re just not capable of understanding anything that has any nuance. Don’t worry, it’s probably not your fault. And even if it is, there’s probably nothing you can do about it.
That “Liberal” also plainly ignores that people like me did not use the “woke” word even in the proper context in past discussions. So that was just about the 25th example of damuriajashi lying about other posters when he claimed that I also had a part in making that word a “bad” one.
History shows that it was moderates that became “concerned” and then conservatives that turned the word into a slur.
The disingenuous part comes from being also a double idiot, first by willfully ignoring the history of how the word was used by black people, and then willfully ignoring that right-wingers use it as a dog whistle now. His insistence in using the work as a slur demonstrates that he is really lying too about what a liberal is nowadays.
Rather than rejecting the concept of wokeness outright, today’s detractors often claim they are rejecting the word as a signifier of pretentiousness and “cultural elitism”. However, as Fox and others have shown, it is as much to do with the issues of racial and social justice. Criticizing “woke culture” has become a way of claiming victim status for yourself rather than acknowledging that more deserving others hold that status. It has gone from a virtue signal to a dog whistle. The language has been successfully co-opted – but as long as the underlying injustices remain, new words will emerge to describe them.
What one can say about DA is that he may not be a racist like the many that nowadays does pretend to be a victim, but cosplays like one in the SDMB. And willfully.
Wait so do you have black relatives or not? I thought Mr. Dibble said it was you. Maybe it was.
I mostly just recall you saying that you thought it was a good idea to throw hundreds of deserving asian kids under the bus in the name of social justice. They were just collateral damage as far as you were concerned.
I’m not going to aid you in your stupidity. If you want to accuse someone of something, you should have a cite ready. That you still don’t just shows, once again, how rock-dumb you are. So far you haven’t produced a single cite for your bullshit accusations against me (and others, AFAICT). Probably because all such a cite would show is how massively you misunderstood and/or mischaracterized someone’s nuanced disagreement. Because, once again, you’re as dumb as a rock.
