The trouble is that in order to make thing low fat, they have to add something to make up for the flavour. Low fat probably equals high sugar. If dieters actually counted the calories rather than the grammes of fat, they’d be better off.
I’m also a firm believer that a little bit of sucrose is probably better for you than a lot of artificial sweeteners.
I noticed it too. At my local Target (SuperTarget or whatever they call the ones that sell groceries), half the time they’re out of normal yogurt, and I have to buy the lowfat. I mean the un-flavored yogurt in big tubs. (I too can’t stand yogurt with sweeteners, artificial or otherwise.)
