I pit DrDeth

Ah, i haven’t read any of that. At some point i put p&e on ignore for my peace of mind. I sometimes go looking for a thread on one topic or another, and follow it. But i often miss new p&e threads.

Nah, there have been a few times when Gatopescado has been a thoughtless jackass, shitting on threads or posts with one of his asinine one-lners that have absolutely nothing to do with the topic and are just intended to be insulting or hurtful. But this thread isn’t about him. I have the fucker on ignore and would just as soon forget that he exists.

Whoa, the pup is fired up! That’s the spirit of the pit, nice to see, haha. I wasn’t expecting that.

There are some people (that arent trolls/trolling) who can really get under one’s skin. I understand completely.

Does DrDipshit have any reading for comprehension skills? I made a thread on impeachment and specifically have said throughout that to ignore impeachment as a political tool - just have high crimes and misdemeanors been committed. So DrDumbfuck felt it necessary to add this

No shit DrDumbass. Here’s your “That’s Obvious” award and why I said in the thread multiple times don’t consider that, just did Noem commit any crimes.
But I guess he had to prove how smart he is knowing something everyone else knows.

Aaaaaand he has doubled-down in the thread because of course he has.

And how dare I try to limit the thread to just her crimes.

I am so glad I disappeared him.

Just skimming that thread, these are the bits that I found the most amusing:

Apparently DrDerp is a lawyer now, and I mean, c’mon, he’s right, contempt of court isn’t a true crime, right guys? There aren’t enough rolleyes on the internet. Not satisfied with limiting the spread of his ignorance, he doubled down with:

Yes, not only is contempt of court not a crime in DrDerp’s universe, even though “we don’t know exactly what they meant” apparently DrDerp does know, a “High Crime” was one where the death penalty was a potential punishment. Only, you know, he’s completely wrong on that as well.

His subsequent response to being called for a cite on the High Crimes thing by PhillyGuy reads exactly like a ChatGPT response when you tell it its first answer is full of shit. Just a mish-mash of “I was thinking of <completely different thing>”, and a Google dump

I mean, they never make episodes of “true crime” shows about it.

C’mon! He’s a Fed! How could he be wrong?

Now tripling down, contradicting himself, and answering the question he wants to answer and not the one actually asked. His latest premise in that Congressmen in 1803 & Thomas Jefferson himself didn’t know what the Founding Fathers intended when writing the Constitution less than 15 years earlier but some modern website that he agrees with (or maybe disagrees with, I’m not sure) does.

How could Thomas Jefferson not know? I know he wasn’t part of the writing of the Constitution, but as one of the Founding Fathers, I’d imagine he’d have had a pretty good idea.

Tiresome.

Doc is just itching to get back on his South Pacific in WWII hobby horse (but not in Historical myths DEBUNKED! in IMHO).

Where, then?

He’s hinting, in that thread, that he would like somebody to start a thread about the South Pacific in WWII.

Ah. Not following it closely. Maybe someone should jump in with a myth about MacArthur?

I saw who started the thread and didn’t bother checking it out. Sounds like that was a good plan

Me, too. As he is on my ignore, the OP would just show up as blank, anyway.

I could see where that was going. Japan wasn’t doin’ nothing wrong and Roosevelt the Imperialist forced them to attack us. I’m sure at some point The Rape of Nanking and Unit 731 will be described as unfounded Western propaganda.
Count me out of that thread.

Not to defend his stance on his particular topic of predilection, but that thread in particular is not veering towards any discussion of the Pacific War. Some people have brought it up, and Dr Deth wrote it would be a good topic elsewhere, but otherwise it is a fairly anondine thread that I am finding interesting. Their contribution to it is minimal.
