Where, for what I can glean from the commentary about it here, he continued to repeat all of his thoroughly debunked points for the nth time pretending that they hadn’t already been repeatedly debunked over and over again every time he brings up one of his many pet topics to fling shit around in.

Well, there was that scene in Patton. He didn’t so much lead a jackass to water as he, well, I’m not saying anyone should shoot DrDeth and throw him off a bridge, but it sure would be nice if someone would put him out of our misery, once and for all.

He’s trolling again in the FQ thread about Noah’s Ark, arguing that there are true holy relics that are well documented, despite his cites that show otherwise.
And then when he’s called on his bullshit and getting pinned in a corner, he does his typical “Oh, this is a hijack, you can start a thread about it”.

Because Hitler was, like all the most prominent fascists, a fucking moron? If he’d have been smart, he wouldn’t have declared war on the US. He’d have left it to Roosevelt to expend political capital on and let it become a wedge issue. But then if he’d have been smart, he also wouldn’t have been a fascist.
He had to by treaty with Japan. To be fair, many (most?) of his advisers counseled him not to, treaty be damned. Why antagonize the U.S.?
But the fact was, he was already in a shooting war with the U.S. and had been for some time. Roosevelt, clever fellow that he was, continued to “protect our commercial vessels” in secret coordination with Churchill, never quite tipping his hand to the congressional isolationists.
