I didn’t post from 9:25 PM my time to 6:51 PM. That’s a break of more than 20 hours. Also I posted post 48 then my next post was post 79. That means there were 30 replies yet cochrane complained that I made 5 replies.
My ratio of replies was 1:6 in that section.
No I have thinks like super dark chocolate (6% sugar) and nuts with high amounts of “good” fat, celery, etc, for dessert.
My point was that I’ve improved a bit - not that I’m completely over it.
Agreed. This was not a Pitting. JC just wants to talk more about diets. Also about how he’s not obsessive. Obsessively.
JohnClay if you are already losing weight rapidly why are you even discussing diet? You are losing weight, which is the point. Stop asking for other ways to do it. If you NEED to discuss diets do so with your doctor. It sounds like you will try any crazy diet scheme that is flashed around the Internet. Talk to your doctor and stop getting distracted by the shiny “easy” diets.
Your “question” about targeting weight loss/fat loss to your belly has been asked and answered. Repeatedly. The answers aren’t going to change just because you opened multiple threads. You cannot target fat loss (short of surgery). If you are worried about a saggy belly, try doing some core strengthening exercises.
I sometimes walk for more than an hour a day. Sometimes it is fast walking. Many experts consider fast walking to be “moderate exercise”. So I guess you think they’re wrong.
So then cutting down to 5% of my regular vegetable intake is still a healthy diet because it’s still healthy?
I asked for proof. So WHY is it unhealthy?
They are accurate to about 0.1 kg but they only cost about $20-$30 each. I don’t consider that to be “expensive”.
Well good for you.
Make up your mind extra carbs or not extra carbs. So you’re saying that every single vitamin, etc, that people need is in that diet?
Well in the past 10 days I’ve gone from 76.5 kg to 74.3 kg. Also I used to be 80 kg a few months ago. I don’t want to cut my vegetables for 3 weeks! I want to be on my own diet!
I’m complaining about DrFidelius. I think he has some ridiculous advice. (though I agree it would result in weight loss). I mainly only wrote one post that addressed my obsessiveness. I DIDN’T say I’m not obsessive.
I wanted to know if coffee/caffeine affected weight, etc. I want to complain about DrFidelius’s advice, etc. Also I only started this diet about 10 days ago - when I was first mentioning it on these boards.
I only see him once a month and I have already talked to him about my diet. Also I DIDN’T ask for other ways of losing weight. DrFidelius just gave me his vegetable advice out of nowhere and I wanted to criticize him.
Well it seems to be working
See post 39 - lipo DOESN’T reduce visceral fat - in fact it can increase it.
I want to stay on the “Belly Fat Cure” diet. Also my belly is not saggy it is just not flat. I might do exercises for it in the future.
Seriously? You’ve never heard of walking for exercise? I don’t think we’re just talking about regular walking around the house. Up until his arthritis got too bad, my dad used to go to the local park and walk about ten miles a day. It kept him in pretty good shape.
I lost weight when I’d walk from downtown to the North Shore on nice days. (Sadly, the weather didn’t always allow that, and I had to take a second bus.)
He didn’t did he … oh my God … he did he done did it … I am so sorry folks, I guess I should have figured he’d post his weight … this is embarrassing, I feel like a sucker now … I can be such an idiot sometimes … I’m really sorry, really I am, please forgive me. 165# right?
Note this portion out-of-sequence
Almost … store bought milk has Vitamin D added, but if you’re a whitie and chromosynopticly male, probably not a big issue. Eat fish from the sea on Fridays, for iodine … otherwise you’re good. How many carbs is up to you, but first you’ll need to know what carbs do … read a book on nutrition, it’s not complicated … you can do this if you really care enough. Maybe then you’ll understand why highly experienced and dedicated doctors across the internet recommend exactly what our Good Doctor told you … go do it … report back in three weeks …
Feels weird posting twice in a row … but this one does deserve it’s own response.
I can’t debate that, that link fits the OP really well. I kinda feel sorry for the OP though, as he burns off his belly fat it will be replaced with muscle mass … he’ll weigh more then.
“Exactly”? I challenge you to find ONE doctor on the internet that recommends that people who want to lose fat in general should halve their vegetable intake. If you can’t that, at least find ONE doctor that says that vegetable intake should be reduced.
If it is such good and widespread advice then you could advise readers here that want to lose some weight to halve their vegetable intake (and halve all other food intake). Surely they’d want to try it for three weeks if it is such fantastic advice… then they could report back. Then I wonder what is supposed to happen next? Halve it again?
Yeah I have been weighing myself to try and monitor my progress… perhaps measuring my waist would have been a more appropriate technique. BTW my doctor records my waist measurement (and weight) quite often due to the association between large bellies and clozapine (a popular anti-psychotic) and some serious health risks. I used to be about the skinniest guy in my high school but put on weight due to some psychiatric medications.
