I tried it a few times and haven’t done it again lately.
Remember you just quoted me saying “I already am doing various types of exercise including walking”. Some people aren’t obsessed enough about their posting…
I already said the only vegetables I’ve been eating lately include celery, asparagus, broccoli and lettuce. Are you saying they aren’t healthy? Also you said “cut your food intake in half at least” - I already am losing weight quite quickly - do you want me to cut my food intake by half or more?
I don’t think you have any idea what diet I’m on. I’m even avoiding artificial sweeteners at the moment. And virtually all sugar and processed foods. People obsessed with being healthy often do the same.
To quote you again:
“it’s clear being healthy is not any concern to you”
The diet is called “The Belly Fat Cure”. It is about belly fat (and “false” belly fat). I don’t want to lose any weight from my face. It isn’t the “Be A Skeleton Diet”.
I’ve been weighing myself everyday. In fact I’ve got two scales side by side to make sure it is accurate. (sometimes they differ by 0.2 kg). Can you prove that weighing yourself isn’t healthy?
Are you saying that is a healthy balanced diet?
If I say no is that proof that “you’re looking for easy”?
I know people who are far lazier than me. They literally spend about 90% of their waking time snacking or watching TV or going on the internet.
I said “They are all low calorie vegetables such as asparagus, lettuce, celery and broccoli”. I didn’t say that I’m not satisfied with my weight loss. So by agreeing with DrFidelius you’re saying that I should halve my vegetable intake for three weeks.
WHAT? You said you agreed with DrFidelius. He didn’t say anything about the fine details about the people he’s talking about. In fact he didn’t like “nit-picking”.
If you agree with him then you must agree that in all cases people should halve their vegetable intake.
Ok what if I reduced everything by 99%… since “you’ll still be eating, proportionally, enough vegetables” is that fine?
Why then do you keep on talking about increasing or keeping vegetable intake the same if his “halve your vegetables” advice is “fantastic”?
But remember I did stop posting for an entire working day. I wanted to reply to some of the people and since I couldn’t reply straight away I had to reply later, all at once. I guess I could have waited for a while after every couple of posts for a post by someone else so that you don’t complain about me posting 5 times in a row…
Anyway I’m not saying that I’m not obsessed at all… I just wanted to respond.
BTW some people complain that I’m not listening… I thought replying would help address that. (Though by “listening” perhaps they mean to agree with everything they say)
So fucking what? You don’t get a pat on the back for managing to refrain from posting for a whole 8 hours - ESPECIALLY when you then immediately go back to doing exactly what people complain about. I imagine that’s exactly what your dieting looks like - “well, I didn’t have dessert on Thursday last week, so I must be doing a great job!”. No - to not be posting obsessively, you must stop posting obsessively. Full stop. Not for 8 hours at a time, for all time. Doesn’t mean stop posting - it means stop posting obsessively.
John Clay, do you ever have anything to say about anything other than “belly fat”???
Sheesh, you come across as the type of fat-phobic who would think that Isabelle Caro was obese or that Christian Bale’s character in “The Machinist” needed to drop the weight STAT.
Yes, but he’s not allowed to talk about them anymore. Well, I don’t think he’s been topic banned about using his wife’s money to buy collectibles which he would then sell for oodles, even scads, of money, but that doesn’t come up much.
The Good Doctor gave you good advice, and you thought to drag him over the Hot Coals of Everlasting Pittery … looks like you caught fire first. Thank you for your deeply involved sentence-by-sentence answer, however I’m just going to respond to the points I’m trying to make here.
Walking is a normal activity for the human species, day-to-day everyday. If you consider it an “exersice”, then I have to wonder what you do do as normal activity, if not sitting on your butt.
Strawman … I said consume less, even if it’s healthy because, duh, it’s still healthy.
Weighing yourself everyday on two scales is unhealthy for you … if it should drive you to post this information anywhere on the internet. Absolutely no one in the entire world cares that you bought two expensive scales so we could know within 200 grams how much you weigh. At least I have two people teasing me about how much my hammer weighs (24 oz.).
Beans, rice and fresh vegetables … that’s all the nutrition most anyone needs, although some may need extra carbs … Cut the volume in half for the three weeks the Good Doctor recommended, then come back and report … he’s a professional, you should respect his training and experience.
Jog … now … once around the block everyday … work yourself up to two blocks and so on … THAT is your new measure, sell the triple-beams on eBay.
Actually, I think it’s going pretty much exactly as the OP expected. It clearly was never an actual pitting, it’s just an excuse to skirt the rules and post another diet thread. The fact that no one is engaging the OP in a meaningful discussion of diet is irrelevant, since he’s not interested in that.
