I pit.... DrFidelius!

I want proof, not just some people saying it over and over again. Not knowing how to do it isn’t proof it is impossible.

BTW not everyone thought it was impossible:

Here’s my GD thread about it: (I didn’t mention those previous quotes though)

ddsun didn’t reply in the GD thread but he did reply here:

But his links are saying that you can’t target the fat loss area through exercise

Despite this Trinopus wrote:

Say goodbye to belly fat, the kayaker way!

34 hours 17 minutes and 47 seconds since I’ve posted on this thread …

… and the OP is still fucking wrong.

What kind of idiot doesn’t know vegetables have carbohydrates in them … the same kind of person who won’t believe his doctor is trying to kill him … then whine when we point that out to him.

I’m not sure what you mean. BTW the diet calls the recommended vegetables “super carbs” (though they’re low in carbs compared to the other vegetables).

My doctor seems to want to help me though…

 BTW that’s the first time I’ve heard that my doctor might want to kill me…

This is untrue. Doing a shitload of sit ups will not burn fat, it’ll simply strengthen the abdominal muscles. If anything, it’ll make the midsection more prominent (unless coupled with a good eating routine).

Now i understand why everyone was so upset with John Clay in the food pyramid thread.

That was Purging disorder. It helps with belly fat reduction. I think he recommends that in chapter 10.

You’re conflating two different issues: fat loss, and belly flattening. You can flatten your belly by exercise. It firms up the muscles that hold your belly in place.

What I said does not contradict what you linked to.

You just said, “This is untrue” and then explained why, in fact, it is true.

Exercise will firm up the muscles and thereby help flatten the belly. It does this by strengthening the abdominal muscles, exactly as you said.

Trinopus: I don’t just want to flatten my belly a bit - I want it to be completely flat.

See a doctor. Follow the diet they advise. You are not interested in our answers.

So why bother giving him yet another one to ignore?

Bellies don’t do that. That would be pathological. The human abdomen extends a bit outward.

You might just as well ask to be four inches taller: not fuckin’ gonna happen.

Do the best with what you’ve got, and that includes eating less and exercising more. You can target your exercise to those parts of your body you most want to improve.

Also exercise will improve your cardio-vascular system, permitting you to live longer. Losing weight will also extend your life expectancy.

Now, yeah, that means we have to put up with your nonsense that much longer, but, hey, I wouldn’t wish bad health on anyone.

(Okay, that’s not true: may Donald Trump get Ebola…)

And like I said – I want a pony. We can’t always get what we want.

So are you saying it is impossible for me to get a flat belly? What if I went on “The Biggest Loser”?

Ok I mean I want my belly to be quite flat, not slighter flatter than it is not.

A completely flat one? Pretty much.

By flat I mean it isn’t sticking out to much. Having muscular abs is ok as well.

You’re flat out of luck, chump. Not even liposuction will give that result.

At this point, you’re just being a jerk.
