Honest question: why is ok that you use multiple acronyms in your posts, but you get upset when other people do it?

It’s too late to edit but I can, (albeit belatedly) write out the acronyms from my post but I think they are already known to most:
SDMB = Straight Dope Message Board
AFAIK = As Far As I know
QZ = Quarantine Zone
COVID = Corona Virus Disease.

It think the only one that would throw people is AFAIK, and most of us on the Dope know it by now. But occasionally spelling it out doesn’t hurt.
QZ might be weird in a few years, I imagine the Quarantine Zone will probably stop getting use at some point and be unknown to future new posters.
There is a lot to be learned from listening to other folks’ opinions so I’m benefitting repeatedly in this thread from so many opinions shared candidly and directly without any unnecessary niceties. Thank you for being part of that help.
