There is nothing remotely upper or even middle class about his accent, he’s a working class boy from Sarf London. He’s even got a broken nose, for God’s sake, no doubt from growing up having punch ups in rough urban pubs on a Friday night. Hilarious that anyone would hear his accent and think ‘British toff’. He’s Central Casting for roles in the likes of Lock Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.

Hah, even as an Australian I can tell that going by his accent, if you put a porkpie hat on him you could call him Arfur Daly.
What Americans probably don’t understand is that truly upper class English trend towards being tremendously polite. They would be more likely to say “oh dear, that is unfortunate” when caught speeding than pull the “do you know ooh I am?” nonsense.
English upper class have their negative traits (hoo boy do they) but being rude is not generally one of them. Which is not to say some aren’t rude, but only to say that it is not IME a common trait.
I’m no expert since I have never been to the UK, let alone being able to pinpoint what class an accent puts someone at. But having watched many BBC shows or films with British folks in them, his voice sounds like a thug character or someone from the streets. A British gangster type. Or a bloke who’d yell at a football match while having one too many at a pub and getting into a fight about it.
There is this douche too. He became famous by being a gym owner who defied Covid protocols. Then he ran for Congress. He was arrested for DUI which is bad enough but he did time for killing someone while drunk in the past.
He’s no longer a gym owner, they want nothing to do with him.
He lost big time in the primary and is now trying to run as a Libertarian.
He just keeps losing at everything.

Yeah I saw all that. He might have had a chance if it wasn’t for the 2nd DUI. He had a lot of MAGA support in the beginning but lost a lot of it after the video came out.
