But cherry picking facts, while ignoring others, in support of a minimizing argument is definitely minimizing.

Under the formal international law definition of genocide no, this sort of thing doesn’t quite fit.

Stating a fact in support of that argument while ignoring other facts that explode that argument is also minimizing.
