It flew.
2 wrecked vehicles, lost her job, and out all those burned, shredded and snipped pants besides!
Let’s see if I’ve got this right (attempting to connect the main elements):
Her position at your company is now open (I request an application) and she’ll be available to date me (in a chicken coop in your driveway at a time when you and your son won’t notice) while** Douchebag** is in jail.
My 2 Questions: 1) is Douchebag liable to be in jail thru the upcoming company Christmas Party and Company Vacation? 1A) Can I get an advance to bring her on the Company Vacation and for lingerie? and 2) When do I start?
I’ll take “Things I Never Thought I’d Hear Flatlined Say” for 800, Alex. Congrats on the quiet.
Well, we certainly have enough drama here. I really hope things work out for Miss Coop. I hope the drugs and insanity are confined to Mr. Coop’s side of the equation.
Read this as “Fisting on the job” and could not stop giggling. “Dammit, Clarence! Get your shoulder out of Jessie and get back to work!”
I’m curious as to whether there’s been a sheepish, hat in hand, request for her job back.
…more likely a dutch cap than a hat, ShelliBean…
Oh no doubt, especially with the domestic abuse charges.
I’d skip buying the lingerie and book rehab if I were you dba Fred. Let’s hope the kids come out relatively unscathed… You met the ex’s new girlfriend fisha?
Haven’t met the ex’s new girlfriend, but he has posted tons of pics of her and his kids. What’s up with that? Nothing quite like being the rebound…
She has not asked for her job back, but she has filed for unemployment benefits. So predictable. Wonder what her rationale was on the application?
Thankfully I saved the texts, should be cut and dried. <sardonic laugh>
Douchebag was never put in jail. He was passed out in the front seat on the side of the road, cops gave him a ride back to the hotel. Don’t ask me how that’s possible, I have no idea.
Other employee’s truck was totaled, he’ll be getting a check from insurance, but still has to deal with getting a new truck, etc. They’ve never apologized to him. They tell him to look at it positively-he’ll be getting a different truck. When he mentions that the used truck market is really tight right now, they shrug it off.
These people are really bad news. Was she always like that? It’s pretty clear that he has always been that way.
and sadly, rogerbox either has to back to his customary clean living or try to raise the bar.
Update:
Employment claim was denied-no appeal yet.
She thinks she should still have health insurance even though she no longer works for me, and specifically told me to cancel her policy when she quit. (so she would get that money for her premium in her last check.) She is very desperate for money, and trying anything she can. One, you aren’t getting any money, no matter how broke you are, and two, swearing at me in texts is not bright.
I don’t get into 'tard fights in text, in fact, I refuse to participate in all mediums.
She moved into new place with new husband March 10. The cops were called there 3 times in the first week. (You all know I live in a small town, right?) Twice for drunkenness/custody issues, once because she was cutting herself.
Love is great, but rarely puts up with self inflicted blood sports.
She went to court for custody last week, was ordered to have a psych and drug eval, and supervised visitation. There is now a Guardian ad Litem involved.
Last week she moved back to SD, and her relationship status went from married to single on FB. She also gave away her car that is soon to be repossessed to a 16 year old.
Again, it might be fun to fuck the crazy, but when the crazy is bleeding out on the bathroom floor, it loses it’s appeal. We’ve been predicting that** Douchebag **would walk away soon, he really has no investment in this relationship. He did not disappoint.
Ex still looks like he hasn’t slept in a month and was hit by a truck.
If I summarize we come up with
Divorced
Lost dream farm
Lost custody of kids
Lost job
Getting divorced (again)
Lost vehicle (soon)
Broke
7 months, folks.
Sweet zombie Jeezus, it HAS to be drugs.
Yeah - drugs seem pretty likely indeed. What a sad situation. Sounds like the kids are better off with the ex (though “Ex still looks like he hasn’t slept in a month and was hit by a truck.” doesn’t necessarily sound like the best parenting environment either.
On the insurance: do you have documentation of her saying to cancel it? I mean, if it’s a regular paycheck she really can’t cancel it (except for “open season”), but someone might argue that it’s different if it’s a matter of paying out accrued vacation time or whatever. Beyond that, was she somehow expecting to be covered even after such paid-out time elapsed???
Or a big tumor in her brain pressing against the “judgement” section.
Could be the result of good parenting to kids who are stressed out and having trouble sleeping. I’m always a bit doubtful of parents who always look bright eyed and bushy-tailed.
As for the lady, yeah, I’d say the smart money’s on Meth.
I feel a lifetime movie starring Sarah Jessica Parker as your employee.
Wouldn’t she make a great white trash tweaker drama queen…
Another vote for not just drugs, but meth specifically. Meth puts a special spin on the lives it ruins, and faster than almost anything else available.
Meth has my vote as well. This latest update just confirms my opinion. Meth takes people down so fast. It sucks and I’m sorry for her. The good thing is that she has a court ordered drug test (which she will fail), so she will go into court ordered rehab before its too late.
Why in the name of my mother’s cat do people DO this to themselves? I fully admit that I am quite good at making mistakes, but can recognise them to be mistakes, and not somehow assume that magical fairies are gonna pop out of the chicken coop and spontaneously make everything perfect.
I started reading this thread for ya know, some good yuks about a random crazy co-worker, but now I really feel sad that she not only has a pretty screwed up situtation, but also seems incapable of getting out of it, and actually seems hell-bent on pulling that toxic cloud even thicker over herself.
Also, yeah, meth. Bad scene. Might not be the case, but boy howdy the signs are all there.
