I agree with those who have already posted that this would be a pointless exercise. This has been done already. Twice. Had no effect. If you don’t have enough votes in the Senate to convict (you won’t), then it’s simply another performance.
But what if we DO after the mid terms. Trump is desperately trying to screw up the vote so that does not happen of course.

Yes, it’s likely that the Democrats will take back the house, and it’s possible that they’ll take back the senate. But getting enough Senators to vote to convict Trump is simply a fantasy. You might as well wish for a land shark to jump through the Whitehouse windows and devour the whole lot of them.
You’ll need to come up with a Realistic, Attainable plan. Not a “wouldn’t it be great” plan.
