He referenced 9/11 lies as a basis for why American citizens no longer trust their government, but he did not assert conspiracy theories, only that lies had been told about 9/11 – which is true. He did not say what lies, and if he had referred to an “inside job,” I’d have taken further action. He didn’t.
Others latched on to the fact that he’d uttered the words, “9/11,” and assumed he was referring to the “inside job” conspiracy. By then, the discussion had been hijacked into a discussion about 9/11. That’s what I moderated for.
You can take further action if you believe it is warranted, but I did not feel that was the case in this instance.
