I Pit Split_p_j

That’s fair. I was reading this decade-old editorial earlier today:

But there’s at least one other definition, widely believed among black folks, that touched off an uproar after filmmaker Spike Lee expressed it in a July 1991 Playboy magazine interview: "Black people can’t be racist, he said. “Racism is an institution.”

Although “black people can be prejudiced,” Lee allowed, we “don’t have the power” to enforce the sweeping institutional racism that perpetuates social, economic and political inequality. Maybe not, I say, but we’re moving up.

And I accept that. But that’s not what most people mean when they call something “racist” in my experience. That’s certainly not what I’m talking about.

It demands a cite for something that no one is going to say to a reporter for a quotable line. There were cites in the thread I was banned from where people let said what they were thinking. Really listen to what they are saying it will back up everything I’m under attack for here.

They are saying what I’m saying but being more polite about it.

I’m saying what they held back.

Here, I’ll help split_p_j out in the style of split_p_j: why white is seen as racist.

So, you have no cites?

I know you think this is a putdown, but I think it helps me in giving some context. The statues were not all white in their day, they were in color.

White supremacy whitewashed them so now most people think they were always that way.

Heres one.

Just a quick search pulls this up from '22, and I quote:

“Among Black Americans, views on this question are very different. About half of Black adults (52%) say that racism in U.S. laws is the bigger problem for Black people in the country, while 43% say the greater issue is racism by individuals. And just 3% of Black adults say that there is no discrimination against Black people in the U.S. today.”

That’s from '22 and this sentiment has only grown.

It does take some digging, use of the proper search terms but the polls today are backing this and what I’ve said up.

It’s seen as a policy, coming form the top.

I coulda swore the thing that a cite was asked for was this,

On a serious note, you said the majority of whites were racist. That is a claim. Back it up with cites or retract.

Black people say the majority of white people are racist. Fuck off with your bullshit. I just cited that. The two numbers add up to 95% of black people think white people are racist, just in diffrent ways.

Black people saying the majority of white people are racist in no way shows that the majority of whites are racist.
You didn’t just cite that.
Fuck off with your bullshit.

This cite proves American blacks think racism by individuals is a bigger problem than racism by laws. It says nothing like ‘they think the majority of whites are racist.’

Holy fuck, I’m like banging my head against the wall here. I clearly see it’s just a bash me thing now as I’ve always been talking from a black perspective. Even have someone quoting it here.

I guess I’m done here, not matter what I say it’s a fight against me.

Good luck in '24 people.

So you’re ignoring my last post? That hurts man.

Just want to bring this up. I’m getting called out for this even though I provided a cite that backs up my terms.

I posted a cite, your are also leaving the other 52% out

I said my last post! The one where I addressed your ‘cite’ as not relevant to the claim you posted.

No, the article says that 52% think racism by law and 43% individual. That’s 95% that think white people are racist. Read it again.

Please explain your reasoning. Cuz I am not seeing how you get from that poll to 95% think the majority of whites are racist.

Come on, you can’t be serious with this question. 95% in that poll think that white people are racist, it’s just that some think it’s the law, which is de-facto white people, and some think its individuals. I think the poll is pretty clear.

Stop trying to play dumb now that I fucked you up and proved I’m not just pulling stuff out of my ass. I gave you a body blow in an easy search.

Tell me now how polls don’t mean anything, they’ve been predicting what we see now for years.

If it’s so clear, and I’m honestly not seeing it, please expalin how 52% think racist laws are the problem and 43% think racist individuals are the problem adds up to 'the majority of white people are racist…
