I pit Teresa Kerry

Un-fucking-believable! She’s still whining about the election.

" Teresa Heinz Kerry is openly skeptical about results from November’s election, the SEATTLE POST-INTELLIGENCER reports, particularly in sections of the country where optical scanners were used to record votes.

“Two brothers own 80 percent of the machines used in the United States,” Heinz Kerry said. She identified both as “hard-right” Republicans. She argued that it is “very easy to hack into the mother machines.”

Heinz Kerry did not offer any specific evidence that votes on the machines were altered.

“We in the United States are not a banana republic,” added Heinz Kerry during a fundraiser in Seattle.

“I fear for '06,” she said.
Drudge
For fuck’s sake, get over it. Why should the Republicans bother to steal elections when they have clowns like this on the other side? They just have to sit back and let their opponents do the work.

Here is the actual article. This:

is the section on the voting. I have bolded the line either you or drudge left out. And you know what? I agree with her to some extent. Though I don’t believe there was wide-scale vote fraud, there is no way to prove or disprove it. There should be controls and audit trails on these machines.

Is that right? In that case, I’m sure she’d be more than happy to demonstrate how to do it.

:smack:

If I was an American I’d be an independant but I’m still embarassed by the antics of both sides from time to time.

Yeah, but the father machines are impervious. I say we only allow male machines to talley votes in the future.

No need for Teresa to demonstrate. Bev Harris did it a year and a half ago:

I mean, come one, fuckin’ ACCESS??

Gah. Come on.

It’s sad but true, a political thing. Actually, I am glad about it. It’s embarrassing, but a) it means the free press is till working  and b) there are a lot of more desctructive things politicians can do, and they do them all over the world, including Europe.

Heinz Kerry is a political opportunist; she’s not realy loyal to either side. Before her first husband died, they were pretty openly planning a push to the White House - only he was a high-ranking 'Publican! In hindsight, I’m glad we didn’t have her. She’s basically been making loumouthed and half-thought statements during the whole race, and now she’s pissed she’s never gonna live in the WH.

Bahahahahaha! You can’t make this stuff up, folks.

I KNOW! Jets fly through the air, and buildings sit still on the ground … crazy!!! (Have you ever heard the one about apples and oranges? Boy is that one a hoot.)

Teresa Kerry rarely does herself any favors when she opens her piehole. The conservative media will trump up any such faux pas in order to distract people from the failures of this lemon of an administration.

Meanwhile, only the most slavish and denial-ridden 'Pubbie can say that the voting machine system, considered in total, is transparent, fully accountable, and above suspicion or reproach.

Especially in Washington, where many Republicans are convinced that the election was stolen…

venue matters.

Every now and then, I hear corporate CEOs make noises about being environmentally friendly. While appropriate skepticism is called for, I’m sure some of them are sincere about it, and have some genuinely good ideas to contribute, tempered by a wealth of experience in what will and won’t work in the commercial world.

I’m sure they don’t travel Greyhound. And I hardly think it undermines the validity of their ideas when they travel by corporate jet.

Do you? And if not, why is it OK for them but not for Teresa Heinz Kerry?

So, because she was married to a Republian previously, she can only ever marry Republicans from now on?

Nope. I won’t say that. Election laws are a terrible mess in this country, and need to be tightened up.

I find it interesting, though, that Teresa Heinz Kerry complains only when one of her husbands loses. If one of them wins a Senate or House race, well, there mustn’t be any problems at all!

It’s behavior reflected here. The Washington gubernatorial election has raised a lot of questions and eyebrows. At least it has elsewhere. Here on this board there’s been hardly a peep, largely due, I’m sure, to the party affiliation of the winner.

Folks using the King County Administration Building as their voting address - yawn. Vague accusations about Diebold are much more exciting.

Nope. The republicans won.

Had they lost then no doubt we would be hearing the most vocal and shrill far right wackjobs complain bitterly and endlessly about how the system somehow cheated them of their proper victory. Just like what we are hearing from the far left wackjobs now.

The shoe fits on both feet.

Well yeah, but our wackjobs who are billionaires outsource the yammering, growing the economy and increasing M1 velocity. So there. :stuck_out_tongue:

Just out of curiousity is anyone here planning on actually denying any of the charges she made?

I believe there were problems with the 2004 election that should be addressed. However, John Kerry lost the popular and electoral vote by all available evidence, and Teresa Heinz Kerry should lay off the gin-soaked raisins.

So anyone that thinks we should fix up the system is a wack job? I don’t give a fuck who wins, I want the system to be as accurate as possible.

Who else is she married to besides John???
Did I miss something?
