You’ve ruined your own argument by including cases where the police killed in self defence there. The system should protect those cops, as they’re the victims of violent crime.
And I don’t give a fuck that Rice’s gun was fake. He tried to threaten the cops with it. Anyone would be justified in shooting in that situation.
Ah, claiming those who disagree with you are mentally ill. That worked so well for Clothahump earlier in the thread, and you’ve just proved you’re as much of a fuckhead as he is.
I’m not the one making things up, claiming that I have some sort of magical divine view of things that means I know better than judges and juries, unlike Budget Player Cadet. If you had the slightest bit of sense, you’d be calling him out for wanting to undermine the system, just as everyone (apart from the aforementioned Clothahump) criticised Trump for trying to do the same thing. Doesn’t matter whether it’s extremists on the right or left, they should be called out when they advocate ignoring laws and justice.
I’ve quoted him in every reply I’ve made to him. You can read them quite easily - indeed, I’m sure you already have. This is, of course, The Pit, so you are quite within your rights to attack me rather than add anything of substance to the thread. It just makes you look like a fucking idiot when you do so.
Why do you repeat stuff like this (that Rice supposedly “tried to threaten the cops with it”) that’s very obviously not factually known? To know this, you’d have to know exactly both what Rice did (which the video, grainy as it is, doesn’t make clear at all) plus what his intent was (for which you’d have to be psychic).
When you repeat nonsense as facts, then it makes me think you’re either delusional or not arguing from an honest position.
Hopefully you can try to do better. We all make mistakes.
Third possibility(and the most likely one): He is not arguing from an honest position, and he is delusional in thinking that anyone is buying his bullshit.
A man who cannot accurately portray the arguments of others cannot be counted on to accurately portray events or evidence. As I said, If Steophan is a cop, he’s a dirty and dishonorable one.
I’d hope that someone who is in a constant state of terror for his own life would be steered away from a career in law enforcement, but it could just be wishful thinking on my part.
I’m not in constant terror for my own life because there are laws and cops who enforce them. Same as the rest of you. I wouldn’t want the risk or the responsibility of doing that job. Fortunately, others are willing to do it.
