Wtf?
14.1 seconds until the pass.
The beauty of the OP is that it could apply to any Cowboys’ defensive play this season.
I thought the earlier touchdown was worse. McNabb heaved it up, the ball was in play for the reciever or the DB equally. Not only was the DB beat, the reciever kind of pushed his head back into the ground on his way into the end zone. Tres embarassing.
YEAH!!!
That guy’s on my fantasy team!
What!?
As long as we’ve got this thread open, what was that weird celebration that Freddie Mitchell did after the catch? He was like hacking at his wrist and then humping his ass back and forth. WTF?
The “hump” part is his regular schtick. He’s brandishing his imaginary championship wrestling belt. I don’t know what the slap bracelet part is, though. That’s a recent addition.
Yeah! Those darn Cowboys and their defense of the last play!
(whatever that means)
42-21??
Woo Freaking Hoo!!
(Sorry for the minor hijack, but I just tuned into the game and am delighted by the score so far.)
And TWINS!
100 yard touchdown by the Eagles. I’m actually starting to feel bad for Dallas.
I don’t feel sorry for JJ. He ruined America’s Team. Filled it with whiney fuckers who couldn’t play as a team when things didn’t go their way. And now he has a buttweed head coach. Poor JJ.
Tex is shitting on JJ’s head from heaven, let me tell ya.
The Cowboys stunk, but that was an incredible play on McNabb’s part.
I think Michaels said it was officially recorded as a 101 yard return since it came from the opposing endzone.
I haven’t heard any official quotes yet so this is just my opinion as a Philly sports fan. One of Mitchell’s nicknames is FredEx, as the majority of his catches are successful 3rd down conversions (remember 4th & 26?). My thought was the wrist tapping was like tapping a wristwatch to say he’s on time and he delivered once again.
That would make sense. I did get the impression he supposed to be indicating a watch and conyeying some sort of message about “what time” it was. I didn’t no about the FredEx nickname. That would explain it.
(That 4th and 26 is a warm memory for us Packer hating Vikes fans, btw).
Re: the OP:
I wouldn’t blame the Dallas D. I just think it was a superstar play by McNabb. The Cowboys aren’t the only ones he’s done that to.
What was the deal with teh Philly timeout right before the half?
I like TMQ’s TMQ’s take on the first touchdown:
But how cool would it have been if George Teague had jumped out of the stands and nailed TO while he was celebrating on the star in the end zone?

Jerry Jones is the mutherfuckin’ devil incarnate.
