I pit the derisive, condenscending, anti-conspiriacy ... [merged threads]

Head’s up folks - this is a rehash of Kozmik’s pit thread (currently at 572 rambling, non-sequitor posts), which was a result of this thread, which Kozmik spun off into his own personal pet project.

I humbly submit that engaging in this thread may not be the best use of your time.

The number of contries in the world is not relevant to whether there is an organization controlling all those countries, or a single figure controlling that organization.

Why do you assume the most powerful person is on Earth? If you were all powerful, wouldn’t you want to be on the Moon or in the hollowed out Earth where your minions are ready to do your bidding and make the hugest earthquake so that the plates would flip over and show the TRUE Earth finally? I think you’ve limited your thoughts the way the MAN wants you to.

Was the OP designed to be posted on Saturday?

Ludovic made a better contribution in this thread than all the posters in both of the other threads.

If you (or any other poster) want to pit me, there’s already a thread here.

This thread is for discussion of my political beliefs and other posters political beliefs. Ludovic disagreed with one of my political beliefs. Even though I don’t accept his assumption, I want him to post his political beliefs.

I thought Jesus killed the Illuminati in that GD thread, but maybe I wasn’t paying attention.

That’s what they wanted him to think.

No, I’m pretty sure that I made the best contribution this thread is going to see.

The problem with many (not all) posters.

So… Wow. OK.

A few questions for Kozmik:

  1. Who do you think the Illuminati are, exactly? Old white dudes in suits, Tibetan lamas, what? Where do they live, and what do they do for fun on a Friday night? Do they have super-powers? Do you know the names of any of them?

  2. How long do you think they have been around? Do they pre-date Weishaupt’s Bund der Perfektibilisten, and if so, by how many years? How did they get started, when and where? Are we talking Charlemagne, ancient Sumer, what?

  3. Do you see them gaining even more power in the future (if possible), or do you see their reign coming to an end, possible within your own lifetime? If so, how?

  4. Do you think it is at all possible that you’re wrong about all this? That there is some kind of non-Illuminati explanation to, say, “The Soviet Union and Nazi Germany” and 9/11 and such? Could you be wrong?

Greg Maddux is the greatest pitcher in MLB in recent years (IMHO). But he lost 227 games.

Therefore the Illuminati controls MLB, too!

As Ludovic indicated, this is where your mundane observations stop and the nonsense begins. It’s such a staggeringly bad bit of reasoning that it makes earnest replies seem pointless.

Personal anecdote: Last night we had some company, and they brought along their Neopolitan Mastiff. Although I like to believe that we humans are in control of the house, that dog ate some pizza off the kitchen counter. Apparently there is a domestic power beyond my wife and I. I’d always suspected as much, but rather thought it would be cats instead than dogs.

And I won’t listen to any crazy theories about how the cats are manipulating dogs into doing their bidding.

I see the problem now. You have faulty wiring in the red hemisphere.

Pretty common with these aging systems. You need a qualified electrician.

No, I’m saying that I’m mildly amused* by your behavior concerning the number of countries. When you were first questioned about the 242 countries, you posted a Wikipedia page as your site. Then, when it was pointed out that the page by its own admission included a buttload of non-sovereign territories on it, you still insisted 242 was right. Eventually you decided to go with the NYT’s 192 total while pretending you had never said anything different.

*Yeah, I’m easily entertained.

“Behind the ostensible government sits enthroned an invisible government, owing no allegiance and acknowledging no responsibility to the people. To destroy this invisible government, to dissolve the unholy alliance between corrupt business and corrupt politic, is the first task of the statesmanship of today.” Theodore Roosevelt

Even though Kim Jong-un is the head of government of North Korea (and I don’t discount the possibility that some heads of government are the Illuminati), I look at this photograph and see more than just a group of kids. I see more than some quiet Asian kid. It was reported that Pak-un, as Kim Jong-un was known in school, had photographs of him with Kobe Bryant and Toni Kukoc.

Just some kid. I don’t think so.

I’m glad someone knows the original name for the Illuminati! It’s possible that they pre-date Weishaupt. One indication of that is that they used (still use) Roman names as code names. Weishaupt’s was allegedly Spartacus.

In my own lifetime? Who knows? It’s possible that they could gain even more power. Then it wouldn’t be a question of control.

Of course, I could be wrong. Any poster could be wrong.

How do you know that someone is above governments? How do you know it is the Illuminati? Even if there was someone above the world’s governments – which IMHO is conspiracy theory nonsense that is borne out of paranoia and fantasy – how do you know that it isn’t the Girl Scouts or some other organization?

How do you know this? And how do you know that there isn’t someone above the someone who is above the Illuminati?

This makes no sense at all. It’s like saying that Canada proves that aliens exist: there’s no logic there at all.

What the hell does this mean? That Kobe Bryant is part of the Illuminati that secretly tells the North Korea dictator what to do?

It’s controlled by Turtles all the way up.

They are Orwellian.

That maybe Kim Jong-un inducted some of those kids into the Illumianti. Look at them pointing and laughing, “We control the world!”
