In what way is the story being downplayed? You’ve been presented with numerous sites where it is the lead or the second story. It is on the front page of both my local papers again today. Do you believe it should receive Katrina type coverage? Or what?

I showed you at least ten articles I found after ten minutes of searching. You can probably find two to three dozen just following links in this thread alone. And as others have pointed out, everyone knows about the Iraqi elections and they didn’t learn it through seances and osmosis. They learned because the media reported it.

If you think the media’s downplaying the story you should probably, you know, pay attention a little bit more.

Hi Clothahump, posts like these are self fulfilling prophesies. They invite scorn and ridicule.
BTW: I am a moderate and only occasionally get pounded and it is usually when I am dead wrong. It is as likely to be from the right as the left. In fact **Bricker ** has pounded me well and fairly in other threads.
