Only in a pedantic sense. The system is made up of people, and by my lights, the people in charge are evil. Not Hitler evil, mind you, it’s a much more small-minded evil than that.
Until we actually do find a better one (if we do). Fortunes will be made and lost on that day. And technology marches on.
