Let me ask you this. If alienating groups of voters you don’t like is such a ridiculous and terrible idea, how did the GOP have such a crazy good night last night? They have the presidency, both houses of Congress, and most governors and state legislatures. Yet they don’t hesitate to give severe “attitude” to “liberal elites”. Why can they be hostile and contemptuous, but we are supposed to hold our fire, turn the other cheek?

I keep hearing commentators on TV and radio say that win or lose, Democrats are going to need to “reach out” to non-college whites after this election. I have done various jobs as a volunteer for the Democratic Party, but they are going to need to look for someone else when it comes to that one.

Am I reading this wrong or are you saying you won’t reach out to anyone but white college kids?

I’m not reaching out either. Last time, during the “W years”, it was all “my way or the high way”, “get out of my country”, “traitor”, “kick your ass”, etc etc etc.

I fully expect it will be the same this time around. Maybe worse. Probably worse.

I have a decent memory, and I believe that history does repeat itself.

Maybe this will help you hear yourself better. Funny how perceptions can change if you alter just one or two words there that carries the same meaning but the point is…bigotry, because everyone hates something and hypocrite, because everybody is one.
